The Los Angeles Dodgers travel to Chase Field to open a series with the Arizona Diamondbacks.
The Los Angeles Dodgers are looking for continued success as their road swing heads to Arizona with wins in four of five after downing Miami 2-0 on Sunday. The offense stalled but great work on the mound from Zack Greinke saved the day. Greinke tossed a four hit shutout over 7.2 frames and struck out six to improve to 6-2 and lower his ERA to 1.58. The bats posted seven hits and walked eight times with Howie Kendrick and Adrian Gonzalez combining for five hits and an RBI apiece with Kendrick and Jimmy Rollins scoring. The Dodgers open the series on the mound with Michael Bolsinger who will face Arizona for the second time. Bolsinger did not receive a decision in a 5-2 victory at Wrigley Field where he gave up both runs on six hits over 4.2 frames.

The Arizona Diamondbacks have avoided the painfully slow start of a season ago but are still trying to reach .500 and climb out of 4th in the National League West. The Diamondbacks were heading in the wrong direction with three consecutive defeats before downing San Diego 6-4 on Sunday. Starter Chase Anderson did just enough on the mound with all four runs plated on three homers through seven frames and the offense did the rest. The Snakes totaled six hits with Wellington Castillo clubbing a three run jack while Jacob Lamb went deep and drove in two and scored two with David Peralta going solo. Allen Webster makes his 4th start of the year for the Diamondbacks on Monday night. Webster comes off of an 8-7 loss at Colorado where he was charged with five runs (three earned) on six hits and two BB in 4.1 innings.
The over is 11-3-2 in the Dodgers last 16 Monday games and the under is 16-5 in their last 21 road games while Los Angeles are 7-3 in their last 10 Monday games. The over is 7-2-2 in Arizona’s last 11 Monday games and is 16-7-3 in their last 26 home games while the Diamondbacks are 17-36 in their last 53 Monday games. I think the Dodgers will put up some runs here and Bolsinger does enough to get the win…
