Great American Ball Park and the Cincinnati Reds kick off a series with the Milwaukee Brewers on Fray night.

The Milwaukee Brewers have struggled to get anything positive going this season and result is the basement in the National League Central. The suddenly hot Brewers have won five in a row after downing Philadelphia 8-7 in eleven innings. Starter Matt Garza was ineffective with four runs scored on ten hits over six frames with Jonathan Broxton giving up two runs in 1/3 of an inning.  The Brew Crew totaled 16 hits and walked four times with Adam Lind and Jean Segura driving in two runs each while Jonathan Lucroy scored twice as every starter scored, drove in a run or did both. Milwaukee hands the ball to Mike Fiers in game one of their series with the Reds. Fiers is coming off of back to back no decisions with three runs plated on eight hits and six BB in 13 innings.

Cincinnati Reds vs. Milwaukee Brewers - 7/3/15 MLB Pick, Odds, and Prediction

The Cincinnati Reds are trying to stay afloat in the National League Central and get ready for a run at St Louis. The Reds have won two of three following a 2-1 win against visiting Minnesota on Wednesday. The offense didn’t do much but didn’t have to with Johnny Cueto on the hill. Cueto gave up the one run on four hits and struck out eight through eight frames to even his record at 5-5. The Reds totaled six hits and walked three times with Joey Votto hitting a sacrifice fly while Brandon Phillips and Billy Hamilton scored. Michael Lorenzen is slated to take the hill against the visiting Brewers Friday for the second time in 2015. Lorenzen has been throwing the ball well the past three times out with a 2-0 record with a 1.93 ERA.

The over is 24-8-1 in Milwaukee’s last 33 Friday games and the under is 9-1 in Fiers' last 10 road starts and  7-2-1 in Fiers' last 10 on grass. Cincinnati are 9-2 in their last 11 home games and  are 4-13 in their last 17 Friday games while theover is 7-3-1 in their last 11 Friday games. Milwaukee are 2-6 in the last 8 meetings and the under is 14-5 in the last 19 meetings. If Milwaukee keeps hitting the ball the Reds are in trouble…
