Milwaukee Brewers vs. Atlanta Braves - 7/7/15 MLB Pick, Odds, and Prediction

USA TODAY Sports

The red hot Milwaukee Brewers have been the hottest team in the game the past few weeks as winners in eight straight before finally losing to the visiting Braves in the series opener. Veteran hurler Kyle Lohse was hit hard with four runs given up on eleven hits through five innings to absorb the loss with four relievers holding Atlanta at bay. The Brew Crew mustered eight hits and walked twice with Gerardo Parra going 2-4 with an RBI and a run. Carlos Gomez and Shane Patterson drove in runs with Scotter Gennett and Jean Segura scoring. Rookie Tyler Cravy gets his second major league start against visiting Atlanta. Cravy lost his debut 1-0 at St Louis with the lone run plated on four hits and a pair of BB in seven innings.

Atlanta are 6-21 in their last 27 Tuesday games. Milwaukee are 8-0 in their last 8 overall and  are 8-0 in their last 8 games on grass while the over is 5-1-2 in their last 8 overall. Atlanta are 8-2 in the last 10 meetings and are 3-9 in the last 12 meetings in Milwaukee. Two rookie hurlers isn’t an ideal choice but I’ll go with the lefty who the Brewers struggle with…Note:Garza pitching
