The Philadelphia Phillies continue their series with the Arizona Diamondbacks at Chase Field.

The Philadelphia Phillies have defied the odds and continue to play great baseball although fans are waiting for the good times to end. The Phillies cooled down Monday in a 13-3 defeat at Chase Field that ended a three game winning streak. Starter Aaron Haran was charged with eight runs on 12 hits over 5.1 frames while the pen was tagged for five more. The offense mustered nine hits with Maikel Franco going solo while Chase Utley drove in a run and scored. The Phillies hand the ball to David Buchanan who looks to bounce back in the win column against Arizona. Buchanan suffered a 10-8 loss to the Dodgers last time out with seven runs plated on ten hits in four innings.

Arizona Diamondbacks vs. Philadelphia Phillies - 8/11/15 MLB Pick, Odds, and Prediction

The Arizona Diamondbacks have been hovering around the .500 mark the last few weeks but are looking for consecutive series wins. The Diamondbacks took game one of their series behind solid pitching and explosive scoring. Starter Rubby De La Rosa allowed all three runs on eight hits over six frames while the bats pounded out 17 hits. AJ Pollock, Yasmany Tomas and Welington Castillo each homered and drove in eight runs while the Snakes also cracked three doubles and three triples. The Diamondbacks hand the ball to Jeremy Hellickson  for his first career start against the Phillies. Hellickson has struggled the past two times out with 13 runs allowed on12 hits including four homers in eight frames.

Philadelphia are 15-4 in their last 19 games on grass and  are 16-5 in their last 21 overall while going  14-5 in their last 19 games as an underdog. The under is 8-0 in Arizona’s last 8 games as a home favorite and  is 8-0 in their last 8 games as a favorite while the Diamondbacks  are 2-6 in their last 8 Tue. games. I’m not sure if there is a good side here and really I’m not sure if there is any good bet here…
