The Kansas City Royals pay a visit to Great American Ball Park to tangle with the Cincinnati Reds.
The Cincinnati Reds have decided to rebuild when they traded away Mike Leake and Johnny Cueto so that means several new faces will be getting a good look with an eye on 2016. The Reds gave Zack Greinke and the Dodgers all they could handle in a 2-1 road defeat on Sunday afternoon. Starter Anthony DeScalfani gave up both runs on solo jacks over six frames to fall to 7-8. The offense wasn’t able to to do much damage against the stingy Greinke with six hits and a pair of bases on balls with a Billy Hamilton sacrifice fly scoring Marlon Byrd with the lone run. Raisel Iglesias shoots for back to back victories when he opposes dangerous Kansas City on Tuesday. Iglesias is 3-4 with a 4.70 ERA covering 12 outings including ten starts.

Edinson Volquez draws Tuesday’s start at Great American Ball Park in interleague action. Volquez has been a steady member of the Royals rotation with an 11-7 record with a 3.27 ERA.
