The Washington Nationals look to end their series with a win against the Milwaukee Brewers.

The Milwaukee Brewers are in position to throw a Monkey Wrench in to the postseason plans of opponents. The Brewers two game win streak ended in a 6-1 defeat at Washington Saturday as starter Taylor Jungmann was charged with five runs on seven hits and a trio of BB over four frames to fall to 7-5. The Brew Crew managed seven hits with Khris Davis slugging his 15th long ball to account for the offense. Matt Garza looks to get back in the win column against the Nationals who he sees for the second time. Garza is coming off of a 6-2 loss to Miami with five runs given up on eight hits in five frames.

Washington Nationals vs. Milwaukee Brewers - 8/23/15 MLB Pick, Odds, and Prediction

USA TODAY Sports

The Washington Nationals might be the most disappointing team in the game as they labor to break free of the .500 mark. The Nationals have still dropped eight of eleven despite Saturday’s win and they’ll need more if  they expect to make the postseason. Starter Joe Ross came up big with six hits and a solo bomb served up through seven innings of work. The Nats did their damage on eleven hits and three BB with Anthony Rendon and Michael Taylor going deep and driving in two runs each. Jordan Zimmermann will be shooting for consecutive victories when he opposes the Brewers on Sunday. Zimmermann did not throw the ball well in a 15-6 win at Colorado with six runs given up on nine hits in six innings.

Milwaukee are 2-9 in their last 11 games as an underdog and the under is 12-3-1 in their last 16 Sunday games. The over is 9-1-1 in Washington’s last 11 home games and the Nationals are 2-8 in their last 10 overall while going  2-8 in their last 10 games on grass. I believe Washington should win but they should have won a lot of games and no way in the world do I lay juice with them…
