The Milwaukee Brewers have had a season to forget but they are trying to finish strong as they beat the Padres on Wednesday. Hernan Perez had three hits and Khris Davis, Scooter Gennett, and Martin Maldonado each had two hits as the Brewers scored five runs on 13 hits. Starting pitcher Zach Davies allowed five hits and struck out six over 7.0 innings to get the win and raise his record to 3-2 for the season. For Thursday’s game the Brewers start Taylor Jungmann who has allowed 102 hits and 47 earned runs while striking out 105 over 116.1 innings for a 9-7 record and a 3.64 ERA.
