The Toronto Blue Jays and Kansas City Royals play game six of the ALCS Friday night.
The Toronto Blue Jays need a victory here to force a deciding game seven Saturday night. The Blue Jays offense woke up in game five with seven hits and eight hits, and Toronto has now won five straight games when scoring more than three runs. Kevin Pillar leads Toronto with 12 hits and six RBI while Troy Tulowitzki and Josh Donaldson have combined for 19 RBI. The Blue Jays pitching staff has allowed four or more runs in five of their last seven games and has 66 strikeouts in 10 games. The Toronto Blue Jays have lost six of their last nine road games. David Price gets the ball, and he’s 1-2 with a 7.02 ERA and 15 strikeouts this postseason.

The Kansas City Royals can make it back-to-back World Series trips with a victory here. The Royals offense was quiet in game five but has still produced five or more runs in six of their last seven games. The Royals have won 13 of their last 15 games when scoring more than three runs. Alcides Escobar leads Kansas City with 16 hits and five RBI while Kendrys Morales and Eric Hosmer have combined for 20 RBI. The Royals pitching staff has allowed 20 runs in their last three games and has 103 strikeouts in 10 games. The Kansas City Royals have won five of their last six home games. Yordano Ventura takes the hill, and he’s 0-1 with a 6.57 ERA and 16 strikeouts this season.
The Blue Jays may have their offense going again, which is bad news for the Royals. If Toronto can remain hot offensively, there's more than enough firepower to win the next two games in Kansas City. But this match comes down to the pitching matchup, and Price clearly has the advantage over Ventura.
Price has won six of his last eight road games as a favorite and he has had a ton of rest. I think we're going to see a game seven.
