With a big win in game one the Houston Astros will try to get back to .500 if they can beat the Kansas City Royals on Tuesday at Minute Maid Park.
The Astros have some serious offence in this line up. Carlos Correa , George Springer, Jose Altuve and rookie Tyler White bring some serious pop to the line up and the Astros will be expecting to be one of the best offences in the league come seasons end. The Astros will hand the ball to Mike Fiers on Tuesday, Fiers really struggled in his opener giving up nine hits and five runs over 5 innings. Obviously the Astros will want more from Fiers but with such a potent offence as long as the starting pitching doesn't completely implode then the Astros will always have a chance.

The Royals starter on Monday Chris Young had a nightmare giving up 6 runs in 4 & 2/3 innings, the veteran was struggling from the 1st Inning , with Young's fastball slower than most across baseball it's obvious that the Astros bats were seeing it well and hitting him hard. In addition the Royals bats were very quiet and provided no support until Kendry Morales two run homer in the eight. Lorenzo Cain entered the series on Monday hitting .190 and the Totals need the veteran outfielder to come out of his start of season slump. Lifetime Cain has hit the Astros hard with a .377 average. Eric Hosmer had a three hit game on Monday and Alex Gordon, Alcedes Escobar and Raymond Fuentes all added multiple hit games but the Totals couldn't get anything going against a mean Houston defence.
Royals are 20-7 in last 27, under is 5-1 Royals last 6, Over is 8-1 Royals last 9 away games.
Astros 5-1 heads up against Totals in Houston, Over is 4-1-1 in Fiers last 6 starts, Over is 8-1 in Astros last 9.
The Astros offence were impressive on Monday I think they can repeat the process here but taking them money line is not a smart play as the odds are prohibitive instead I think we should take the overs as 8.5 seems a little low considering the Astros hot bats and the Totals ability to get on base.
