The Texas Rangers look to cool off the surging Chicago White Sox on Monday night.

The Chicago White Sox are slow and steady and play the good teams the same as the bad teams. The White Sox continued to roll after knocking off visiting Minnesota 3-1 on Sunday afternoon.  CWS starter Jose Quintana was stingy as usual with the lone run plated on six hits and a base on balls over seven frames to pick up the win. The White Sox totaled six hits and walked twice that featured RBI’s off the bats of Todd Frazier, Dioner Navarro and Austin Jackson while Avisail Garcia scored twice. The Chicago White Sox pull Miguel Gonzalez out of the pen to start at Texas on Monday night. Gonzalez received a no decision in his only start in a 7-5 win at Toronto with five runs plated on eleven hits over 5.1 frames.

Texas Rangers vs. Chicago White Sox - 5/9/16 MLB Pick, Odds, and Prediction

USA TODAY Sports

The Texas Rangers rode strong work on the mound and a late scoring spree to rout the Tigers 8-3 on the road Sunday. Rangers starter held the dangerous Detroit attack to two runs on two hits and five bases on balls to get the win while whiffing seven over six frames to get the win. The Texas bats logged 12 hits and four walks with Bobby Wilson going 3-4 with a grand slam during a seven run 8th while Delino DeShields Jr. smacked a solo bomb. The Chicago White Sox pull Miguel Gonzalez out of the pen to start at Texas on Monday night. The Texas Rangers are scheduled to start Colby Lewis against the visiting White Sox on Monday. Lewis comes off of a 4-3 defeat at Toronto with three runs scored on five hits in seven innings.

The over is 6-2-1 in the White Sox last 9 overall and is 6-2-1 in their last 9 on grass while Chicago  are 11-4 in their last 15 overall. The under is 10-4-1 in Texas last 15 overall and  is 7-3-1 in their last 11 on grass while the over is 9-4-1 in their last 14 home games. The under is 6-2-1 in Lewis' last 9 starts versus the White Sox and  is 34-16-1 in the last 51 meetings. This should be a good one and might be better to watch…
