The Arizona Diamondbacks look for another victory at Coors on Wednesday as they take on the Colorado Rockies in game two of their set.
The Diamondbacks look to continue their heavy hitting on the road against the Rockies on Wednesday night after a late game surge gave them a 5-1 victory and with Chad Bettis going to the mound for the Rockies it could be another great opportunity for Arizona to put up some runs. The D-Backs will counter with Robbie Ray who is 1-2 with a 4.40 ERA that identical to Bettis’ though the Rockies hurler has a 3-2 record with Ray on the losing end at 1-2 but any way you look at it with the pitching matchup and the offense that each team possesses this game looks inevitable of soaring over the total.

The Rockies look to move to within two games of the .500 mark with a home win in this one after dropping back a game yesterday and with both Zack Greinke and Shelby Miller in the dugout for this one it could be a good chance for them to get a win. Colorado has a dangerous lineup with the likes of Nolan Arenado, Carlos Gonzalez, and Trevor Story but they can’t find a way to generate any sustained success and as such they often find themselves at the bottom of league power rankings.
The Diamondbacks are 4-0 in their last four road games, 4-0 in their last four against a righty, and 2-7 in their last nine Robbie Ray road starts while the Rockies are 4-11 in their last 15 against a team with a losing record, 0-6 in their last six home games, and 0-4 in Bettis’ last four Wednesday starts. This game has a slug fest written all over it and with the Coors factor coming in as well this one should soar over double digits.
