The Chicago White Sox look to solidify their grip on the AL Central with a win versus the Houston Astros.
The Houston Astros need to regain their form of 2015 and slowly crawl up the AL West standings. The Astros hadn’t looked good with losses in three of four before squeezing out a 6-4, eleven inning win at the White Sox after blowing a 9th inning lead. Astros starter Dallas Keuchel kept hits team competitive with three runs plated on six hits and a trio of BB over 6.1 frames before Luke Gregerson gave up a 9th inning run to blow the save. The Stros totaled eleven hits and walked four times with Tyler White slamming a pair of solo bombs while Evan Gattis won it with a two run jack in the 11th. The Houston Astros give Wednesday’s start at the White Sox to Doug Fister. Fister has been the best and most consistent starter for the Astros and has logged five consecutive quality starts.

Chicago logged eleven hits and walked three times with Adam Eaton and Tyler Saladino driving in a pair of runs each while Jose Abreu slammed a solo homer. Mat Latos looks to stay unbeaten when he opposes visiting Houston Wednesday night. Latos has not thrown the ball well the past three times out with a 1-0 record with a 2.15 WHIP and 7.63 ERA.
