The Houston Astros are hoping to right the ship soon and make a run at the top of the American League West. The hot streak the Astros need will have to wait another day with Friday’s defeat giving the team back to back losses. Stros starter Lance McCullers was a hard luck loser with both runs allowed on five hits and a trio of free passes through six innings while Michael Feliz tossed three scoreless frames. Houston posted six hits and didn’t score until the 9th when Colby Rasmus singled in Jose Altuve who doubled. Mike Fiers toes the rubber in his first career meeting with the Texas Rangers. Fiers is coming off of a 7-1 win versus the Indians with the lone run plated on three hits and a pair of BB in seven frames.
