The Royals have been red hot and stayed that way Wednesday with a 6-3 victory versus visiting Tampa Bay for their 9th win in eleven contests. Royals starter Danny Duffy allowing all three runs on seven hits to pick up the win. KC totaled eleven hits and walked twice with Lorenzo Cain going 3-4 with an RBI and two runs but five different players drove in runs overall. Kansas City begins the series on the mound with Yordano Ventura on Thursday. Ventura comes off of an 8-7 victory versus the White Sox where he gave up all seven runs on nine hits over seven innings.

The Indians are scheduled to recall Carlos Carrasco from the disabled list if his hamstring is deemed to be 100%. In four starts Carrasco had gone 2-0 with a 0.95 WHIP and 2.45 ERA.
