The Arizona Diamondbacks look to build on their win against the LA Dodgers last night as the teams continue their series at Chase Field on Tuesday.
The Dodgers dropped a tough one on the road against their division rivals from Arizona last night as a 3-2 final sent them to their 32nd loss of the season and pushed them to just a single game above the .500 mark heading into Tuesday night. The Dodgers will look to get a winning outing of Kenta Maeda who has had some pretty numbers this season despite a mediocre record and if a couple of bounces would have gone his way he could very well be staring at one of the better record in the National League. Los Angeles will look to get to Archie Bradley in this one who has had some nice starts of late but still has an ERA over five and is suspect to giving up the long ball.

The Diamondbacks are chipping away at what has been a disappointing start to the season and while they still have a ways to go before they are back into the conversation as an NL West contender they are on the right track and could inch closer with another win on Tuesday night against their division rivals. Arizona does have some nice pieces but have missed the offense of AJ Pollock and haven’t been able to fill the void and while their rotation has tightened up a little bit of late they have been rather disappointing considering they were expected to be the source of the team’s success this season.
The Dodgers are 6-0 in their last six Tuesday games, 1-4 in their last five road starts, and 4-1 in their last five Maeda starts on the road while the D-Backs are 9-4 in their last 13 Tuesday games, 6-0 in Bradley’s last six starts against the NL West and 1-4 in their last five home games against a righty. LA had chances last night but couldn’t get it done but I expect that to change here as Maeda has been unlucky and I think he gets one back tonight.
