The Cincinnati Reds head to turner Field to oppose the Atlanta Braves in Tuesday action.
The Cincinnati Reds have been dangerous at times but obviously not nearly enough. The Reds are a bit dangerous now with wins in three of four following a 9-8 victory at Atlanta on Monday. Cincy starter Daniel Wright allowed five runs ( three earned) with the pen giving up three more. The Reds totaled nine hits and walked eight times with Adam Duvall cracking a three run bomb with Jay Bruce knocking in two and scoring. Overall five players drove in runs and seven scored. Brandon Finnegan will be on the hill for his first career meeting with the Braves. Finnegan comes off a 3-2 loss to visiting St Louis with two runs scored on five hits over seven innings.

The Atlanta Braves just can’t get the ship pointed in the right direction with their bats and arms struggling to get on the same page. The Braves had it going at the plate Monday but not on the mound on Monday. Bravos starter Aaron Blair was charged with six runs through five innings with two relievers giving up another three runs. Atlanta logged ten hits and walked four times with Adonis Garcia going deep and driving in two while Freddie Freeman went 3-5 with a homerun, three RBI’s and two runs as every starter reached base. Julio Teheran Toes the rubber in search of consecutive victories on Tuesday night, Teheran defeated San Diego 4-2 on the road last time out with both runs scored on solo homers in eight frames.
