The Toronto Blue Jays and Chicago White Sox duke it out at U.S. Cellular Field on Saturday.

The Toronto Blue Jays know they are a hot streak away from taking over the American League East so avoiding losing streaks is the main goal. The streak is heading in the wrong direction with the Blue Jays losing four of five after following a 3-2 defeat at the White Sox on Friday night. Jays starter Aaron Sanchez threw well with two runs given up on eight hits over six frames with Jesse Chavez allowing a run in 1.2 innings. Toronto totaled eight hits and walked four times with Kevin Pillar knocking in both runs with Michael Saunders scoring twice. The Blue Jays send veteran RA Dickey to the hill to oppose the White Sox for the second time in 2016. Dickey comes off a 4-2 loss at Baltimore with three runs scored (two earned) on seven hits over six innings.

Chicago White Sox vs. Toronto Blue Jays - 6/25/16 MLB Pick, Odds, and Prediction

The Chicago White Sox are trying to right the ship after several weeks of poor play knocked them back to 4th in the American League Central. The White Sox are making some headway after Friday’s win gave them victories in four of five contests. CWS Carlos Rodon kept his team in the game with both runs given up on six hits and two free passes while striking out eight through 5.2 innings. Chicago pounded out eleven hits with Melky Cabrera slugging a solo bomb while Avisail Garcia and Todd Frazier drove in runs. Miguel is scheduled to start against the visiting Blue Jays on Saturday. Gonzalez was outstanding last time out in a 3-1 victory at Boston with the lone run plated on four hits in 6.2 frames.

Toronto are 3-10 in their last 13 Saturday games and the over is 11-4-2 in their last 17 Saturday games while the under is 6-0-2 in Dickey’s last 8 road starts. The over is 15-6-3 in the White Sox last 24 Saturday games and Chicago are 9-19 in their last 28 overall while going  9-19 in their last 28 games on grass. I think Gonzalez and the White Sox are capable here…
