The New York Yankees continue their series with the Cleveland Indians on Saturday.
The New York Yankees have been in a win one, lose one trend the past week and need to string some wins together. The Yankees took one on the chin in a 10-2 defeat at Progressive Field on Friday night. Yanks starter Chad Green fell to 1-2 with seven runs scoring on five hits including four long balls over 4.1 frames. The Bronx Bombers totaled seven hits with Brian McCann going 3-4 with a homer and a pair of RBI’s with Carlos Beltran scoring. The Yankees hand the ball to veteran CC Sabathia for Saturday’s start at Progressive Field. Sabathia comes off of an 8-2 loss at the White Sox with five runs plated on eight hits and two BB over six innings.

The Indians are slated to start Danny Salazar Saturday against the visiting Yankees. Salazar defeated the Tigers 5-3 last time out with all three runs scoring on eight hits in 5.2 frames.

Cleveland are 13-3 in their last 16 home games and are 23-8 in their last 31 games on grass while going 25-10 in their last 35 overall. The Yankees are 3-7 in the last 10 games.
