The Baltimore Orioles look to regain their winning touch when the Cleveland Indians come to town Friday.
The Cleveland Indians have played consistent baseball in 2016 and the reward is first place in the American League Central. The Indians have won three of four after blasting Kansas City 11-4 on the road Wednesday. Tribe starter Carlos Carrasco tossed a one hit shutout over six frames with Austin Adams charged with all four runs in 2/3 of an inning. Cleveland totaled ten hits and seven BB with Jason Kipnis, Carlos Santana and Mike Napoli going deep while Tyler Naquin smacked two homers. The Indians have named Trevor Bauer as the series opening starter at Baltimore on Friday. Bauer did not get a decision in a 5-4 loss at Minnesota last time out with four runs scored (three earned) on seven and three BB over six innings.

The Baltimore Orioles have struggled at the plate and the mound the past week and the result is they have dropped to second in the American League East. The Orioles had dropped four in a row before a series ending 4-1 victory at New York on Thursday afternoon. O’s ace Chris Tillman upped his record to 14-2 with a run allowed through seven innings. The Birds logged nine hits and walked once with JJ Hardy driving in two runs while Jonathan Schoop knocked in a pair and scored.Baltimore sends reliever Dylan Bundy to the hill against visiting Cleveland for his second career start. Bundy dropped a 5-2 decision in his first start at Tampa Bay with three homers served up in 3.1 frames.
The over is 8-2-2 in Cleveland’s last 12 overall and is 8-2-2 in their last 12 on grass while the Indians are 22-6 in their last 28 Friday games. The under is 8-0 in Baltimore’s last 8 overall and the Orioles are 38-14 in their last 52 home games while going 4-9 in their last 13 games on grass. The under is 9-4 in the last 13 meetings. I have no clue what to expect from Bundy so I feel it’s Cleveland or nothing…
