The East leading Baltimore Orioles host the Central leading Cleveland Indians on Sunday.
The Cleveland Indians are the class of the American League Central and just need to avoid any long losing streaks. The Indians are in danger of dropping three straight after dropping a 5-2 decision at Baltimore on Saturday. Tribe starter Josh Tomlin was charged with four runs over six frames to get the loss. Cleveland was held to seven hits and three BB with Lonnie Chisenhall driving in both runs. Corey Kluber toes the rubber at Camden Yards for the first meeting with the Orioles this year. Kluber has allowed one run the past two times out on ten hits covering 15 innings.

The Baltimore Orioles are looking over their shoulder at Boston and Toronto who are right on their heels. The Orioles are back atop the American League East with Saturday’s victory being their third straight. O’s starter Kevin Gausman held the dangerous Cleveland offense off the scoreboard through seven innings to get the win. The Birds logged ten hits with Pedro Alvarez going deep with Mark Trumbo smacking a two run jack. Vance Worley makes his 4th start of the season and first ever versus the Indians on Sunday. Worley comes off of a 7-1 defeat at the Yankees with three runs plated on three hits and four BB in 4.1 frames.
Cleveland are 19-7 in their last 26 games on grass and the over is 8-3-2 in their last 13 overall while going 8-3-2 in their last 13 on grass. The under is 10-1 in Baltimore’s last 11 overall and the over is 9-3 in their last 12 Sunday games while the Orioles are 39-14 in their last 53 home games. Cleveland are 1-7 in the last 8 meetings and the under is 10-4 in the last 14 meetings. I’m backing the Orioles but I don’t think I can bet Worley…
