The Toronto Blue Jays lead the American League East by a slim margin so every loss is crucial. The Blue Jays lost a big one Monday by a 1-0 count at the Yankees where a great performance on the mound went for naught. Jays starter RA Dickey allowed the lone run on four hits and four BB over five frames while three relievers held New York at bay. Toronto was held to three hits and a free pass and struck out 13 times. The Blue Jays are scheduled to start Marco Estrada against the Yankees on Tuesday night. Michael Pineda toes the rubber against the Blue Jays Tuesday in game two of their series. Pineda defeated Boston 4-2 last time out with both runs given up in six frames.

The under is 14-5 in the Yankees last 19 home games and the over is 5-2-2 in their last 9 Tuesday games and New York are 11-5 in their last 16 home games. Toronto are 19-7 in the last 26 meetings and are 18-37 in the last 55 meetings in New York. The trends say Toronto struggles in New York and that better change…
