Headed our way Wednesday in the MLB, we’ve got the series closer between the Boston Red Sox and the Baltimore Orioles from Oriole Park.
This will be the second of a quick two-game match-up. On Tuesday the Red Sox managed a 5-3 win.

The Red Sox will be rolling out lefty David Price on Wednesday. In his 25 starts and 10-8 record this year, Price has logged a 4.29 ERA with a 1.28 WHIP in 163.2 innings. Price bagged a win his last time out against the Diamondbacks, going eight innings with 10 hits and three earned.
The Boston lineup isn’t hurting for playmakers. Mookie Betts sits on 157 hits with 93 runs, 28 homers and 89 RBI. Xander Bogaerts has put up 148 hits with 82 runs and 69 RBI. Dustin Pedroia sits on 142 hits with 78 runs and 53 RBI.
Over on the Orioles’ side, we’ll be seeing RHP Chris Tillman for Wednesday’s game. Over 25 starts and a 15-4 record, Tillman has a 3.46 ERA with a 1.21 WHIP in 151 innings of work. In Oakland his last time up, Tillman bagged a seven-inning win with five hits and two earned.
Baltimore boasts some pretty big hitters as well. Manny Machado has logged 140 hits with 81 runs, 26 homers and 69 RBI. Adam Jones has 126 hits with 70 runs and 70 RBI with 23 homers. Jonathan Schoop has hit 125 times with 62 runs and 62 RBI.
The Red Sox are 2-5 in their last seven game twos of a series, and 2-5 in their last seven Wednesday games. Boston is also 1-5 in Price’s last six starts, and 0-5 in Price’s last five road starts.
As for the Orioles, they’re 6-0 in their last six home games versus a left-handed starter and 1-4 in their last five games against a left-handed starter. Baltimore is also 47-23 in Tillman’s last 70 starts and 43-19 in Tillman’s last 62 home starts.
I like Tillman to come out throwing here and for the Orioles to get a big lead early. I’ll take Baltimore.
