LAD starter Bud Norris was charged with six runs on seven hits and four BB over 3.2 frames before Pedro Baez gave up three runs. The Cincinnati Reds are difficult to nail down at times as they can be hot or cold without notice. Right now the Reds are hot with four consecutive victories behind strong work on the mound and at the plate versus the visiting Dodgers Friday. Cinci starter Tim Adleman tossed five scoreless innings with the offense taking care of business. Cincinnati racked up 12 hits and walked four times with Michael Lorenzen clubbing a three run homer while Joey Votto homered and knocked in four with Adleman helping himself with a pair of RBI’s. Brandon Finnegan is slated to be on the bump to oppose the Dodgers for the second time in 2016. Finnegan comes off of a 6-3 loss to Miami with four runs scoring in 5.1 frames.
The under is 6-2 in the Dodgers last 8 Saturday games and the over is 8-3-2 in their last 13 road games while the under is 9-4-1 in Anderson’s last 14 road starts. The over is 5-2-1 in Cincinnati’s last 8 home games and is 6-2 in Finnegan’s last 8 starts on grass while going 6-2 in Finnegan’s last 8 starts overall. Los Angeles are 48-23 in the last 71 meetings. This might be a stretch but Anderson has seen little action and was hurt last time out…
