The Cleveland Indians look to move a step closer to the AL Central title with a win versus the Minnesota Twins Tuesday.
Not much can be said about the Minnesota Twins as their record does all the talking. The Twins have not won in two weeks and their struggles continued in a 1-0, ten inning loss at Cleveland on Monday. Minnesota starter Hector Santiago was outstanding with 6.1 shutout frames for a no decision. The Twins managed nine hits and walked three times wit three players posting two hits apiece. Andrew Albers makes his first start since 2013 when he opposes the Indians on Tuesday. Albers has thrown 8.1 innings of relief for the Twins in 2016 with a 4.32 ERA.

The Cleveland Indians have not been playing like a team challenging for the American League Central but they better turn things around. Cleveland logged eight hits and walked four times with Jason Kipnis driving in Chris Gimenez with the lone run of the game. Josh Tomlin toes the rubber against visiting Minnesota Tuesday in AL Central action. Tomlin has fallen off from his great start to the season and is 11-8 with a 1.23 WHIP and 4.70 ERA.
Minnesota are 5-16 in their last 21 overall and over is 13-5 in their last 18 Tuesday games while going 59-24-4 in their last 87 overall. Cleveland are 7-2 in their last 9 Tuesday games and the over is 6-2 in their last 8 Tuesday games while the Tribe are 27-11 in their last 38 home games. The over is 16-5 in the last 21 meetings in Cleveland and Minnesota are 15-7 in the last 22 meetings. I don’t like what I see from the arms so perhaps a small over play…
