The Los Angeles Angels are playing some of their best baseball of the season although it won’t help them make the playoffs. The Angels have rattled off wins in eight of ten after downing Cincinnati 3-0 Wednesday night. LAA starter Ricky Nolasco was the star of the game with a four hit, complete game effort that upped his record to 5-12. Los Angeles mustered seven hits and a BB with CJ Cron knocking in two and scoring. Brett Oberholtzer is scheduled to make his second time this season since coming out of the pen. Oberholtzer did more get a decision last time off in a 3-2 win at Detroit with a run given up over three innings.
