The Tampa Bay Rays visit the Big Apple to face the playoff hopeful New York Yankees.

Tampa Bay pounded out 13 hits and walked four times with Kevin Kermaier and Nick Franklin going deep and driving in five while Luke Maille knocked in a pair. Alex Cobb makes his second start of the season after coming off the disabled list. Cobb defeated Toronto 8-3 in his 2016 debut with two runs allowed over six innings pitched.

The Yankees might be a team to keep an eye on after a 2-0 victory against the Blue Jays gave the team four wins in a row on Wednesday with the work on the mound carrying the day. NYY starter Bryan Mitchell tossed five scoreless innings with two relievers putting up zeros. The Bronx Bombers totaled nine hits and a pair of BB with Starlin Castro going solo while Brian McCann drove in Didi Gregorius scoring. Veteran left hander CC Sabathia looks to stay hot when he opposes Tampa Bay for the third time in 2016. Sabathia comes off a 2-0 loss at Baltimore with bith runs allowed (one earned)in six frames.
