The Minnesota Twins have mostly struggled during the season so even a rare win is huge. The Twins overcame a 4-2 deficit in defeating Kansas City 6-5 Wednesday behind some late offense and solid work out of the win. Minnesota starter Kyle Gibson allowed four runs on eight hits including two homers through six frames before four relievers finished the job. The Twins amassed 12 hits with Byron Buxton going solo and scoring twice while Robbie Grossman homered and drove in two. Tyler Duffey toes the rubber against Cleveland looking to rebound from a pair of poor starts. In back to back outings, Duffey has allowed eleven runs on nine hits including three homers in 6.2 frames.

Cleveland are 24-5 in their last 29 Friday games and  are 8-2 in their last 10 overall while going  8-2 in their last 10 games on grass. Minnesota are 6-22 in their last 28 overall and  are 6-20 in their last 26 Friday games while the over is 38-12-2 in their last 52 home games. If I were going to bet this I’d lean over…
