The Milwaukee Brewers continue their series with the rival Cincinnati Reds on Wednesday.
The Milwaukee Brewers are trying to avoid the National League Central basement but have hit a bit of a skid. The Brewers have dropped four of five after Tuesday’s 6-4 loss at Great American Ball Park. Brew Crew starter Matt Garza allowed three runs on eight hits over five frames to get the loss. Milwaukee was held to four hits and a pair of base on balls with Jonathan Villar, Keon Broxton and Chris Carter smacking long balls. Junior Guerra is slated to make his third start since coming off the disabled list. Guerra comes off a 12-5 win at St. Louis with three runs allowed on six hits over five innings.

The Cincinnati Reds have hit a little hot spurt but we know things can go south without notice. The Reds hot spurt continued with the win Tuesday night that their 5th victory in a row. Cinci starter Dan Straily upped his record to 12-8 with two runs allowed on solo homers through eight innings before Tont Cingrani served up a two run bomb in the 9th. Cincinnati banged out ten hits with Joey Votto going deep and driving in two with two runs scored while Adam Duvall drove in two and scored.Rookie Tim Adleman makes his 10th start of 2016 and second against the Brewers. Adleman comes off of a 4-3 win at Pittsburgh with two runs scoring on seven hits in six frames.
Milwaukee are 14-29 in their last 43 road games and are 8-2 in Guerra’s last 10 road starts while the under is 12-5 in Guerra’s last 17 on grass. The under is 5-2-2 in Cincinnati’s last 17 on grass.
