The Atlanta Braves will be in the Big Apple Monday to take the field with the New York Mets.
The Atlanta Braves have had a tough rebuilding season and likely have a few more down years ahead of them. The Braves have won consecutive contests after a rain shortened 6-2 victory versus the rival Nationals in seven innings. Bravos starter Matt Wisler picked up the win with both runs plated on five hits over 5.2 frames. Atlanta racked up 12 hits and walked four times with Adonis Garcia going 3-4 with three RBI’s while Dansby Swanson drove in a run and scored twice. Aaron Blair looks to right the ship when he opposes the Mets for the 4th time this season. Blair last starter in late August in a 13-4 defeat at San Francisco where he gave up five runs in four innings.
