The Minnesota Twins continue their series at Target Field against the playoff hopeful Detroit Tigers.
The Detroit Tigers are in the Wild Card hunt but won’t be if they don’t play better. The Tigers might be on their way to a hot streak with back to back wins after knocking of Minnesota 8-1 Tuesday with everything going their way. Detroit starter Matt Boyd won it with a run allowed over eight frames on a solo homer. The Tigers banged out eleven hits and walked three times with James McCann smacking a three run bomb while Miguel Cabrera homered, drove in two and scored twice. The game two start at Minnesota goes to Anibal Sanchez who looks to snap a four game winless streak. In 33 appearances, (25 starts) Sanchez has gone 7-13 with a 5.00 ERA.
