The Red Sox just finished up against the Rays this weekend. Boston took all three games and has now won 11 in a row.

As for the Yankees, they just finished up against the Blue Jays. New York dropped the first three, scoring just three runs between them. On Monday, the Yankees stopped the sweep with a 7-5 win.
Pitching for the Red Sox on Tuesday will be lefty David Price. In his 33 starts and 17-8 record this year, Price owns a 3.91 ERA with a 1.18 WHIP in 218.2 innings. Price got a win against Baltimore in his last outing, going seven innings with six hits and three earned.
Boston has some great hitters at their disposal. Mookie Betts sits on 209 hits with 119 runs, 31 homers and 109 RBI. Dustin Pedroia has hit 195 times with 102 runs and 72 RBI. Xander Bogaerts has logged 184 hits with 113 runs, 20 homers and 88 RBI.
Over on the Yankees’ side, we’ll be seeing RHP Luis Cessa in the start Tuesday. In 15 games, seven starts and a 4-3 record, Cessa owns a 4.30 ERA with a 1.14 WHIP in 58.2 innings. Cessa took his third straight loss against the Rays his last time out, going six innings with two earned and six hits.
New York has a few hitters of note as well. Starlin Castro holds 153 hits with 62 runs, 21 homers and 69 RBI. Didi Gregorius has put together 150 hits with 67 runs and 68 RBI. Jacoby Ellsbury sits on 139 hits with 67 runs and 54 RBI.
The Red Sox are 8-0 in their last eight against a team with a winning record, and 10-1 in their last 11 games following an off day. Boston is also 5-0 in Price’s last five road starts, and 9-0 in Price’s last nine starts overall.
As for the Yankees, they’re 5-0 in their last five Tuesday games, and 5-2 in their last seven home games versus a left-handed starter. New York is also 7-3 in their last 10 home games, and 1-4 in their last five against the American League East.
The Red Sox are simply playing stellar baseball right now, and I’m certainly not going to pick against them. I’ll take Boston all the way here.
