Arantes has proven to be a well balanced fighter who has at least four wins in all three categories. Arantes has proven to be solid in his grappling, and he’s defending 64 percent of his strikes. Despite never being knocked out, Arantes has shown to be least effective against above-average strikers. This will be Arantes’ first career fight in Canada.
This is an interesting line, especially with Jabouin fighting in his backyard where he’s won seven of his last 10 fights in Canada. Arantes may be the more balanced fighter, but Jabouin is certainly no slouch and has the fan support heading into this one.
Call me crazy, but I’m calling the upset here, as I think Jabouin can land a couple of good strikes that turn this fight in his favor.
