Nick Hein and Jon Tuck fight early Sunday at the Ahoy Rotterdam during UFC Fight Night 87.

Nick Hein enters this fight with a 13-2 record and has won 54 percent of his fights by decision. Hein has won five of his last six fights and is coming off a September win over Yusuke Kasuya. Hein is averaging 2.92 significant strikes per minute with an accuracy percentage of 40.8 percent. Hein is averaging 0.75 takedowns with an accuracy percentage of 30 percent. Hein has won all three of his UFC fights by decision but has looked impressive through majority of those bouts. Hein is a physically strong fighter who relies on his powerful striking attack and strong takedown defense. Hein has just one knockout to his name but is capable of so much more with his power. Hein has improved his grappling but still isn’t nearly as effective as he is when he’s on his feet. This will be Hein’s first fight in the Netherlands.

Nick Hein vs. Jon Tuck UFC Fight Night 87 Pick, Preview, Odds, Prediction - 5/8/16

USA TODAY Sports

Jon Tuck enters this fight with a 9-2 record and has won 44 percent of his fights by knockout. Tuck has split his last four fights and is coming off a May win over Tae Hyun Bang. Tuck is averaging 3.11 significant strikes per minute with an accuracy percentage of 42.2 percent. Tuck is averaging 0.73 takedowns with an accuracy percentage of 50 percent. Tuck has won three of his five UFC fights and will take the octagon for the first time in a year. Tuck is a violent and aggressive striker with obvious ability to finish fights on the canvas. Tuck’s last two wins have come by submission, and he has a clear advantage when he gets his opponent on top. The concern with Tuck is his subpar takedown defense. This will be Tuck’s first fight in the Netherlands.

Tuck may be the better finisher of the two, but his grappling and wrestling is most effective when he gets his opponent on top. That’s not going to be easy when fighting Hein who is very tough to takedown regardless. This seems like the type of fight that Hein can win.

Look for Hein to win his third straight fight.
