Brock Lesnar and Mark Hunt fight Saturday night during UFC 200 at the T-Mobile Arena.
Brock Lesnar enters this fight with a 5-3 record and has won two of his fights by knockout. Lesnar has split his last four fights and is coming off a 2011 loss to Alistair Overeem. Lesnar is averaging 3.57 significant strikes per minute with an accuracy percentage of 73.4 percent. Lesnar is averaging 3.87 takedowns with an accuracy percentage of 57.1 percent. Lesnar will be fighting in UFC for the first time in almost five years before he prepares for WWE SummerSlam. There’s certainly going to be rust with Lesnar due to so much time out of the octagon. However, we know Lesnar is an accurate and violent striker who is also comfortable on the canvas with two submission victories under his belt. This will be Lesnar’s sixth fight in Las Vegas.

Mark Hunt enters this fight with a 12-10-1 record and has won 75 percent of his fights by knockout. Hunt has split his last four fights and is coming off a March win over Frank Mir. Hunt is averaging 3.24 significant strikes per minute with an accuracy percentage of 44.1 percent. Hunt is averaging 0.69 takedowns with an accuracy percentage of 55.5 percent. Hunt has been hit or miss as he gets older, as he’s split his last eight fights and is 42 years old. For better or worse, Hunt’s last five fights have ended in knockout and he's somebody who doesn’t really want any part of the canvas. Hunt is still a vicious and powerful striker who hasn’t won a fight any other way besides knockout since 2011. This will be Hunt’s second fight in Las Vegas.
One of these guys is probably going to get knocked out, as they both want to stand up and trade punches. The problem is Lesnar hasn’t been in the octagon in nearly five years while Hunt is still active and has put together back to back recent knockouts.
I can’t pick somebody who we haven’t seen in such a long time.
Give me Hunt to win by knockout.
