The Detroit Pistons and the Sacramento Kings collide at the Golden 1 Center on Wednesday night.

The Detroit Pistons have been in decent shape as they’ve split their last six games, but they will be hoping to snap a two-game skid after getting routed by the Warriors in a 102-86 road loss last night. Rodney McGruder led the team in scoring with 19 points on seven of 10 shooting off the bench, Hamidou Diallo added 16 points with 13 rebounds while Isaiah Stewart chipped in with 14 points and 11 rebounds. As a team, the Pistons shot a miserly 35 percent from the field and nine of 34 from the 3-pointline as they got off to a terrible start and quickly found themselves trailing by as many as 34 points before they even found their footing in the contest.

Meanwhile, the Sacramento Kings have been in a real slump as they’ve lost six of their past eight games and they will be hoping to bounce back after falling short to the slumping Rockets in a 118-112 loss on Sunday. Buddy Hield led the team in scoring with 27 points on nine of 16 shooting off the bench, Terence Davis added 17 points with six rebounds and five assists while Chimezie Metu and De’Aaron Fox each scored 14 points. As a team, the Kings shot 45 percent from the field and 12 of 38 from the 3-point line as they clawed their way back from an early 16-point deficit, only to allow 33 points in the fourth quarter to see the Rockets escape with the win late.

Looking at the betting trends, the Pistons are 1-4 ATS in their last five road games. The Kings are 4-0 ATS in their last four games playing on two days’ rest and 2-5 ATS in their last seven games against a team with a losing record.

Head to head, the under is 6-2 in the last eight meetings overall and the Pistons are 10-3 ATS in the last 13 meetings in Sacramento.

The Pistons are going to missing a host of players once again as Jerami Grant, Kelly Olynyk and Frank Jackson are all out, while the Kings will be missing Tyrese Haliburton who has been ruled out. This would usually be an ideal matchup for the Kings who need any win they can get, but the Pistons have been more than competitive over their past six games and they are 10-3 ATS in the last 13 meetings in Sacramento. This should be a close one, so I’m leaning towards the Pistons with the points in a game they could win outright.
