The Line: Brooklyn Nets -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds
The upbeat Portland Trailblazers hope to make it back to back wins when they take on the Brooklyn Nets tonight.
The Blazers have quietly been one of the hottest teams in the league, now on a six-game win streak after beating the Raptors by 118-110 in overtime last night. LaMarcus Aldridge was as consistent as ever, leading the team with 25 points and 11 rebounds, while Damian Lillard had 25 points and eight assists. Nicolas Batum also scored five three pointers on his way to 24 points, but this was a game that almost got away from the Blazers as they blew a 17-point lead in regulation before escaping in overtime behind Lillard who scored three of the Blazers five field goals in the extra period. Blowing double digit leads has been a recurring problem for the Blazers this season, but the bottom line is that the win elevates them to 8-2 on the season and 4-1 on the road.

Meanwhile, the Nets have lost four of their last five and are coming off a narrow 110-103 loss against the Clippers despite missing four of their starters. Andray Blatche saw starters' minutes and responded with 19 points and eight rebounds while Mason Plumelee had 19 points off the bench, but the Nets just couldn't get key stops when it came to the final minutes of the game. The loss drops the Nets to 3-6 on the season and 1-5 on the road under rookie coach Jason Kidd, but the Nets will take plenty of confidence from the fact that they were able to rattle the Clippers despite playing without Kevin Garnett, Brook Lopez, Paul Pierce and Deron Williams.
In ATS trends, the Blazers are 4-0 ATS in the last four road games and 5-1 ATS in their last six games overall, while the Nets are 5-2 ATS in their last seven games against a team with a winning record and 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games following an ATS win.
Head to head, the Blazers are just 1-4 ATS in the last five meetings overall.
