The Utah Jazz continue the search for their first road win when they take on the Oklahoma City Thunder tonight.
The Jazz will be hoping to avoid a sixth straight loss tonight after falling to the Mavericks by 103-93 on Friday night. Marvin Williams led the team with 19 points off the bench, while Derrick Favors and Gordon Hayward had 13 points each, but the Jazz were left with yet another double digit loss. On the bright side, things could have been much worse as they found themselves down by 28 in the second quarter but to their credit, they fought hard to get within five points before the Mavs' starters took the game away from them late in the fourth. With the loss, Utah fall to 1-13 on the season and 0-8 on the road.

On the other hand, the Thunder will be looking to win their fourth straight tonight after taking down the Clippers by 105-91 on Thursday night thanks to 28 points and eight assists from Kevin Durant. Serge Ibaka also had himself a strong outing, adding 17 points on eight of 10 shooting while Russell Westbrook had a quiet night of just 12 points. Oklahoma City has won its first five home games of the season and it's because with the speed of Westbrook and Durant, they're able to into the paint and wreak havoc which led to the Thunder outscoring the Clippers in the paint by 58-32. With the win, OKC improve to 8-3 on the season.
In ATS trends, the Jazz are 5-1 ATS in their last six games against a team with a winning record and 5-1 ATS in their last six games overall, while the Thunder are 5-11 ATS in their last 16 games overall and 2-8 ATS in their last 10 home games.
Head to head, the Jazz are 3-7-1 ATS in the last 11 meetings overall and 0-3-1 ATS in the last four meetings in Oklahoma City.
Looking at ATS trends, you would have to think that the Jazz have a decent shot at covering the spread tonight, but they haven't fared well against the Thunder at all and nothing I've seen from them lately will change my mind. I'm taking the Thunder to cruise to an easy win at home.
