The Toronto Raptors travel to the Footprint Center to take on the Phoenix Suns on Monday night.

The Toronto Raptors are starting to heat up as they’ve won three of their last four games and they will be eager to keep it going after making light work of the Trail Blazers in a 123-105 road win on Saturday. Precious Achiuwa led the team with 27 points and 13 rebounds on 11 of 16 shooting, Pascal Siakam added 24 points on nine of 17 shooting while Scottie Barnes tallied 18 points with 10 rebounds and seven assists. As a team, the Raptors shot 52 percent from the field and 10 of 30 from the 3-point line as they set the tone with 37 points in the first quarter to take an early 23-point lead, before they poured in another 35 points in the fourth quarter to pull away after the Trail Blazers rallied to threaten their lead.

Meanwhile, the Phoenix Suns have been in great shape as they’ve won five of their last six games overall and they will be hoping to stay hot after beating the Spurs in a 128-118 overtime road win on Saturday. Chris Paul led the team with 31 points and 11 assists, Mikal Bridges added 25 points while DeAndre Ayton tallied 23 points with eight rebounds and three assists. As a team, the Suns shot 48 percent from the field and eight of 24 from the 3-point line as they squandered a 13-point lead in regulation, before they made up for it in overtime where they held the Spurs to just eight points to escape with the win.

Looking at the betting trends, the Raptors are 2-5 ATS in their last seven games following a win of more than 10 points and 4-1 ATS in their last five games overall. The Suns are 4-1 ATS in their last five home games and 5-1 ATS in their last six games overall.

Head to head, the over is 4-1 in the last five meetings in Phoenix, the Raptors are 2-7 ATS in the last nine meetings in Phoenix and the Raptors are 5-14 ATS in the last 19 meetings overall.

The Raptors are a little shorthanded again as OG Anunoby is out again while Dalano Banton is listed as questionable. The Suns are still missing some players as Devin Booker, Cameron Payne and Landry Shamet are all still out. The Raptors have yet to really find their groove this season, but they’ve been in good form over the past couple weeks and they looked good in their big win over the Trail Blazers on Saturday. The Suns are starting to heat up with five wins in their last six games and they are 4-1 ATS in their last five home games. It’s hard to split these two squads at the moment, but the Raptors are only 2-7 ATS in the last nine meetings in Phoenix, so I’ll lean towards the Suns in a close one at home.
