The Line: Chicago Bulls -5 See the Latest Odds
The Toronto Raptors will have their hands full on Saturday when they head to Chicago to face the Bulls.
The Chicago Bulls are sitting at 9-12 this season and are playing outstanding ball at home, going 6-3 this season. The Bulls have a suffocating defense, allowing 92.5 points per game this year, ranking them second in the league in scoring defense. Offense has been the issue as Chicago is ranked 28th in the league in scoring offense, putting up an average of 92.3 points per game.

The Toronto Raptors are 8-13 overall this season and on the road, where the Raptors typically struggle, they are 4-6 this season. The Raptors are playing well on both sides of the ball this year, allowing 99.3 points per game, while scoring an average 98.5 per game. Toronto is just 2-3 in their last five games, but did get a win in their last outing, defeating the Sixers in Philly 108-100.
The Raptors are 6-1 against the spread in their last seven games against a team with a losing record, and 4-1 against the spread in their last five games against the central division. Toronto is also 5-2 against the spread in their last seven games on the road.
The Chicago Bulls are just 2-5 against the spread in their last seven games against the Atlantic division, and the Bulls are 7-20 against the spread in their last 27 games against a team with a losing record. The Bulls are 0-4 against the spread in their last four home games against the Raptors and the Bulls are just 1-4 against the Raptors in their last five overall meetings.
I have to take the Raptors in this spot. Both teams need wins here, but this line looks to be inflated a bit as the Raptors are breaking in their new roster. I like this Raptors team, and when teams change their rosters over mid-season, a lot of times the new players play extra tough.
The Bulls are solid, and their defense is the real deal, but giving up two buckets to this Raptors team just looks like too much here.
