The Line: New York Knicks -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds
The Memphis Grizzlies will be looking to avoid a season-high sixth straight loss tonight when they take on the New York Knicks.
The Grizzlies have now lost 10 of their last 13 after falling to the Mavericks by 105-91 on Wednesday night. Tony Allen led the Grizzlies with 16 points and matched a career high of 11 rebounds (10 offensive), but added to the Grizzlies' injury woes as he had to leave the game with a gash on his pinkie which required stitches. As a team, the Grizzlies continued to struggle on offense, shooting just 39 percent from the field which was epitomised by Zach Randolph's shooting efficiency of 14 points on five of 18 from the field. With the loss, Memphis falls to 10-15 on the season and 5-5 on the road.

Meanwhile, the Knicks have suddenly won three of their last five and are coming off a dramatic 107-101 overtime victory over the Bucks. Carmelo Anthony led the Knicks with 29 points, Beno Udrih added 21 points in the starting point guard role and JR Smith added 19, but perhaps the biggest positive from the win was the fact that Tyson Chandler returned to the court and played 37 minutes which was something the Knicks have been lacking all season. One thing the Knicks could do without was the knucklehead shot from Andrea Bargnani, but you'll have to watch the highlights from Wednesday night to understand what I'm talking about.
In ATS trends, the Grizzlies are 7-19-1 ATS in their last 27 games overall and 0-4 ATS in their last four games following a loss, while the Knicks are 3-10 ATS in their last 13 home games and 1-5 ATS in their last six games following a win.
The bookies have finally released the line for this game and it's the Knicks who are slight favorites which seems about right to me. I really don't like betting on games between two struggling teams but I have to admit that I'm favoring the Knicks to win and cover this game because they're starting to look better with Chandler back on the court.
