The San Antonio Spurs play host to the Toronto Raptors at the AT&T Center on Wednesday night.

The Toronto Raptors have been in good shape as they’ve won three of their past four games and they will be eager to stay hot after blowing past the Hawks in a 139-109 win on Monday. Pascal Siakam led the way with 31 points, 12 rebounds and six assists, Scottie Barnes tallied 21 points, seven rebounds and eight assists, Gary Trent Jr added 21 points on seven of 16 shooting while OG Anunoby chipped in with 14 points, six rebounds and six steals. As a team, the Raptors shot 50 percent from the field and 14 of 34 from the 3-point line as they kept Trae Young and the Hawks in check for three quarters, before pulling away with an impressive 44 points in the fourth quarter.

Meanwhile, the San Antonio Spurs have been the surprise team of the league so far as they’ve won five of their past six games and they will be aiming for a third straight victory after taking down the Timberwolves in a 107-98 win on Sunday. Keldon Johnson led the way with 25 points, six rebounds and eight assists, Doug McDermott drained seven 3-pointers to finish with 23 points off the bench while Keita Bates-Diop chipped in with 18 points. As a team, the Spurs shot 41 percent from the field and 16 of 40 from the 3-point line, but this win was more about their defense as they held the Timberwolves to just 40 percent shooting from the field and four of 29 from the 3-point line. The Spurs will be disappointed with their 19 turnovers and Tyus Jones had a rough game of just 10 points on two of 12 shooting, but they still managed to get the win.

Looking at the betting trends, the Raptors are 35-17 ATS in their last 52 games against a team with a winning record and 4-1 ATS in their last five games overall. The Spurs are 6-1 ATS in their last seven home games, 10-1 ATS in their last 11 games against a team with a winning record and 15-3 ATS in their last 18 games overall.

Head to head, the Raptors are 3-7 ATS in the last 10 meetings in San Antonio and the Raptors are 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings overall.

The Raptors could be shorthanded for this one as Fred VanVleet and Otto Porter Jr. are both listed as questionable while the Spurs will be without Devin Vassell, while Keldon Johnson is questionable. The Raptors are coming into this one with plenty of momentum after blowing past the Hawks on Monday, but with the injury cloud hanging over them, I’d rather lean towards the Spurs who have quietly been one of the hottest teams in the league.
