The Los Angeles Clippers look to extend their season-best win streak to six tonight when they play the Golden State Warriors.
The Clippers have won eight of their last 10 and will be going for a sixth straight tonight after sneaking past the Wolves by 120-116 in overtime on Sunday. Down by four points with just 18 seconds left in the fourth quarter, the Clippers executed a great play for a dunk before forcing a turnover from Kevin Martin to send the game into overtime where they took over. Blake Griffin led the scoring with 32 points and 10 rebounds before fouling out, while Jamal Crawford added 22 points. Chris Paul added 19 points and 13 assists while Jared Dudley added 15 points including a clutch go-ahead three pointer as LA improved to 20-9 on the season and 12-2 at home.

On Monday, David Lee scored 28 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Warriors to their second straight win and their third in four games. Stephen Curry battled foul trouble all night but added 14 points and seven assists while Klay Thompson scored eight points in the fourth quarter to finish with 13 for the game. On the offensive end, the Warriors flew out of the gates early before struggling through the second and third quarters. However, they were able to ramp up their defense in the fourth quarter to hold the Nuggets to just 15 points as they won by 89-81 to improve to 16-13 on the season and 7-9 on the road.
In ATS trends, the Clippers are 4-1 ATS in their last five games overall and 5-1 ATS in their last six against Western Conference opponents, while the Warriors are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 home games and 1-5 ATS in their last six against teams with winning records.
Head to head, the Clippers are 2-6 ATS in the last eight meetings overall and 1-6 ATS in the last seven meetings in Golden State.
Of these two teams, the Clippers have clearly been in better form and were victors in the last time they played the Warriors, winning by 126-115 back on Oct 31. A lot of basketball has been played since then, but I'm expecting more of the same as the Clippers have clearly been the better and more consistent team. I'll be taking the Clippers with the points in what should be a tight contest.
