The Atlanta Hawks look to avoid a sixth straight road loss when they pay a visit to the Cleveland Cavaliers tonight.
The Hawks have won six of their last nine and were heading into Miami on Monday looking for a fourth straight win, but lost by 121-119 in overtime despite leading by seven points with 90 seconds left in the fourth quarter. Jeff Teague led the scoring with 26 points and eight assists, while Paul Millsap and Al Horford added 25 and 21 points respectively. Kyle Korver continued his red-hot shooting streak with five threes to finish with 15 points but the Hawks just couldn't get the crucial defensive stops when the game was on the line which led to the Heat coming back from to force overtime and then again in overtime. Atlanta have now lost their last five road games to drop to 15-13 on the season and 4-9 on the road.

Meanwhile, the Cavaliers have lost four of their last five and will be looking to avoid a third straight loss after a couple of blowouts against the Bulls and the Pistons. On Monday against the Pistons, Kyrie Irving scored 21 points and seven assists while Tristan Thompson added 17, but the rest of the team shot just 35 percent as the Cavs fell behind early and never looked threatening. The Cavs ended up getting blown out by 115-92 to drop to 10-17 on the season and 8-5 at home. On a side note, Dion Waiters has missed the last three games with wrist tendinitis and is listed as questionable for tonight's game against the Hawks.
In ATS trends, the Hawks are 4-0 ATS in their last four games overall and 4-1 ATS in their last five games following a loss, while the Cavs are 5-2 ATS in their last seven home games and 6-16 ATS in their last 22 games following a loss.
Head to head, the Hawks are 10-4 ATS in the last 14 meetings overall and 6-1 ATS in the last seven meetings in Cleveland.
