The Portland Trail Blazers and the Oklahoma City Thunder duke it out at the Paycom Center on Monday night.

The Portland Trail Blazers have been in great shape as they’ve won seven of their past 12 games overall and they will be hoping to bounce back after getting routed by the Bulls in a 130-116 road loss last night. CJ McCollum led the team with 29 points on 13 of 23 shooting, Norman Powell added 22 points on seven of 10 shooting while Anfernee Simons chipped in with 21 points and six assists. As a team, the Trail Blazers shot 51 percent from the field and 18 of 39 from the 3-point line as they looked to be in good shape until the second quarter where they allowed the Bulls to pour 44 points on them and things only got worse in the second half as the Trail Blazers fell behind by as many as 19 points.

Meanwhile, the Oklahoma City Thunder have been in a major slump as they’ve lost 12 of their past 13 games and they will be hoping to snap a seven-game slide after falling short to the Pacers in a 113-110 overtime home loss on Friday. Luguentz Dort led the team with 27 points, eight rebounds and four assists on 10 of 16 shooting, Josh Giddey tallied 15 points with 10 rebounds and five assists while Darius Bazley chipped in with 14 points off the bench. As a team, the Thunder shot 45 percent from the field and 14 of 43 from the 3-point line as they squandered a 16-point lead in regulation, before allowing the Pacers to close the final 1:25 on a 6-0 run to snatch the game from them late.

Looking at the betting trends, the Trail Blazers are 5-1 ATS in their last six road games, 5-1 ATS in their last six games against a team with a losing record and 4-1 ATS in their last five games overall. The Thunder are 7-2-2 ATS in their last 11 home games, 16-6 ATS in their last 22 games against a team with a losing record and 1-3-1 ATS in their last five games overall.

Head to head, the under is 28-12-2 in the last 42 meetings in Oklahoma City.

The Trail Blazers will again be without Nassir Little, Cody Zeller and Larry Nance Jr, while the Thunder have ruled out Shai Gilgeous-Alexander for this one. The Trail Blazers were on a nice little roll before getting stopped by the Bulls last night, but they’re getting good production from players like McCollum, Powell and Simons. You can’t say the same about the Thunder who have now lost seven in a row. The Trail Blazers are 5-1 ATS in their last six road games and I think they can escape with the win and cover against the shorthanded Thunder in this spot.
