The tough road trip continues for the Brooklyn Nets as they travel to San Antonio to take on the Spurs tonight.

The Nets have lost five of their last six and are coming off a 105-91 loss to the Pacers who have now beaten them three times this season. Paul Pierce led the team with 18 points while Mirza Teletovic added 17 in his fifth start of the season, but despite being able to stick with the Pacers in the first half, the Nets just couldn't find their offense in the second half, scoring just 35 points. With yet another loss, Brooklyn fall to 10-20 overall and 4-11 on the road where they've lost their last three.

On the other hand, the Spurs have won three of their last four and are coming off a 112-104 win over the Kings thanks to the usual suspects. Tony Parker had 22 points while Tim Duncan added 17, but it was actually Manu Ginobili who saved the day with a vintage performance of 28 points off the bench, including consecutive threes to toe the game at 102 with three minutes remaining. With the win, San Antonio improve to 24-7 overall and 11-4 at home.

In ATS trends, the Nets are 9-4 ATS in their last 13 games following a loss of more than 10 points and 1-5 ATS in their last six games overall, while the Spurs are 12-4 ATS in their last 16 games against a team with a losing record and 1-7 ATS in their last eight home games.

Head to head, the Nets are just 6-19-1 ATS in the last 26 meetings overall and 3-1-1 ATS in the last five meetings in San Antonio.

The Nets were struggling when they had Brook Lopez but have taken it to another level with him on the sidelines, but they have more than enough talent to be competitive against any team in the league. However, they've been so hard to watch lately and I'll be surprised if they can keep up with the Spurs at home.
