The New York Knicks and the San Antonio Spurs duke it out at the AT&T Center on Thursday night.

The New York Knicks look to have cooled off from their eight-game win streak as they are now looking to snap a four-game slide after falling short to the Mavericks in a 126-121 overtime road loss on Tuesday. Quentin Grimes led the team with 33 points, six rebounds and four assists, Julius Randle added 29 points with 18 rebounds and four assists while Mitchell Robinson chipped in with 20 points and 16 rebounds. As a team, the Knicks shot 43 percent from the field and 16 of 50 from the 3-point line as they squandered a 12-point lead in the fourth quarter, before coming up just short in overtime where they managed just six points.

Meanwhile, the San Antonio Spurs have been in a real slump as they’ve lost five of their last seven games overall and they will be hoping to bounce back in this one after getting shocked by the Thunder in a 130-114 road loss on Tuesday. Devin Vassell led the team with 20 points on eight of 15 shooting, Keldon Johnson added 19 points while Jeremy Sochan chipped in with 16 points, nine rebounds and four assists. As a team, the Spurs shot 46 percent from the field and 10 of 29 from the 3-point line, but they were poor on the defensive end and were always fighting an uphill battle after allowing 70 points in the first half.

Looking at the betting trends, the Knicks are 22-6 ATS in their last 28 road games and 9-3 ATS in their last 12 games overall. The Spurs are 3-11 ATS in their last 14 games following a loss, 3-7 ATS in their last 10 home games and 5-14 ATS in their last 19 games overall.

Head to head, the over is 9-1-1 in the last 11 meetings in San Antonio.

The Knicks could be shorthanded again as RJ Barrett is out while Jalen Brunson is listed as questionable with hip soreness. The Spurs have their own concerns as they are keeping eyes on Devin Vassell, Doug McDermott and Keldon Johnson who are all questionable. The Knicks haven’t been able to get anything going over their last four games and their confidence took a major hit after losing to the Mavericks in such a painful way, but they are a solid 22-6 ATS in their last 28 road games and I think they can bounce back into form against this struggling Spurs team.
