The New Orleans Pelicans will be looking to snap a seven-game skid tonight when they battle with the Golden State Warriors.

The Pelicans have lost seven straight but could have easily won each of their last three games as they've all been decided by six points or less. Against the Rockets on Wednesday, Eric Gordon poured in 35 points on 11 of 17 shooting while Anthony Davis added 24 points, but the Pelicans failed to hold off the Rockets who finished the game on a 17-6 run to send the Pelicans to yet another narrow loss. With the loss, New Orleans drops to 15-23 overall and 9-9 at home.

Meanwhile, the Warriors had won 10 straight before losing three of their last four. Last night against the Thunder, Stephen Curry made six threes on his way to 37 points and 11 assists, while Klay Thompson made six threes of his own to score 26 points, but there was just no stopping the Thunder's Kevin Durant who exploded for a career-high 54 points to send the Warriors to a 127-121 loss. With the loss, Golden State drops to 25-16 overall and 13-11 on the road.

In ATS trends, the Warriors are 2-5 ATS in their last seven games playing on no days rest and 0-4 ATS in their last four games overall, while the Pelicans are 5-0 ATS in their last five home games against teams with winning road records and 6-2 ATS in their last eight home games.

Head to head, the Warriors are 19-7-2 ATS in the last 28 meetings and 6-0-1 ATS in the last seven meetings in New Orleans.

A week ago, this game would look like an easy win and cover for the Warriors on the road, but they've been giving up so many points during their recent struggles so I'm worried about their chances in this game given that they already played last night. With that being said, I'm reluctantly taking the Pelicans with the points at home in this one.
