The New Orleans Pelicans will be desperate to end their eight-game skid tonight when they pay a visit to the streaking Memphis Grizzlies.
The Pelicans have lost eight straight and are coming off a 97-87 loss against the Warriors despite a monster night from Anthony Davis who scored a game-high 31 points and 17 rebounds. Tyreke Evans added 14 points off the bench while Al-Farouq Aminu had 12, but no one else finished in double figures in scoring as the Pelicans shot just 38 percent from the field and two of 11 from the three point line. Eric Gordon was particularly disappointing, shooting just three of 17 from the field to finish with eight points after pouring in 35 points against the Rockets on Wednesday. With the loss, New Orleans fall to 15-24 overall and 9-10 at home where they've lost five straight.

Meanwhile, the Grizzlies will be looking to build on a five-game winning streak after sneaking past the Kings by 91-90 on Friday. Mike Conley had a strong outing of 25 points and six assists, while Courtney Lee added 17 points, but the real boost for the Grizzlies was the play of Marc Gasol who had finished with 16 points in his third game back after missing 23 games with a knee injury. With the win, Memphis improve to 20-19 overall and 11-12 at home where they've won their last four.
In ATS trends, the Pelicans are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games following a double digit loss at home and 1-4-1 ATS in their last six road games, while the Grizzlies are 4-1 ATS in their last five home games and 7-2 ATS in their last nine games overall.
Head to head, the Pelicans are 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings and the Under is 4-1 in the last five meetings.
Zach Randolph lifted his game in the absence of Marc Gasol, but the Grizzlies could never string together wins until they got their multi-skilled Spaniard back on the court. On the other hand, the Pelicans have continued to struggle without their injured stars so I'm expecting nothing but a comfortable win for the Grizzlies at home in this one.
