The Philadelphia 76ers will be looking to get a rare win when they take on the Washington Wizards today.
The 76ers have lost six of their last seven and are coming off yet another double digit loss after getting trounced by the Bulls by 103-78 on Saturday. In a terrible shooting performance that saw Thaddeus Young lead the team with 12 points, the 76ers shot just 35 percent from the field and two of 19 from the three point line which resulted in a season-low scoring output of just 78 points. Philadelphia has now lost 11 straight road games against Eastern Conference opponents by an average of 14.5 points to drop to 13-27 overall and 5-15 on the road this season.

Meanwhile, the Wizards had an impressive three-game win streak snapped on Saturday when they lost to the lowly Pistons by 104-98. John Wall had a monster game of 34 points on 15 of 23 shooting, while Martell Webster added 15 points off the bench, but the Wizards needed a lot more from Bradley Beal who missed 12 of 14 from the field to finish with just seven points. With the loss, Washington drop back under .500 to 19-20 overall and 9-10 at home.
In ATS trends, the 76ers are 3-9 ATS in their last 12 games following a loss of more than 10 points and 1-6 ATS in their last seven games overall, while the Wizards are 13-3 ATS in their last 16 games against a team with a losing record and 1-6 ATS in their last seven home games.
Head to head, the 76ers are 16-5-1 ATS in the last 22 meetings overall and 6-1 ATS in the last seven meetings in Washington.
The Wizards will be disappointed with their loss to the Pistons after three consecutive wins over the Bulls (twice) and the Heat, so I'm definitely looking for them to bounce back and blow away this hapless 76ers team.
