The Los Angeles Clippers head to the United Center on Friday to face off against the Chicago Bulls.
The Chicago Bulls are currently just above the .500 mark this season, owning a record of 21-20 on the year. Chicago is playing well at home this season, going 13-8. The Bulls are playing their best ball of the year as of right now and if things keep trending the way they are currently for Chicago, the Bulls will be in the post season. Chicago has won three straight heading into this meeting with the Clippers, with their latest win coming on the road at Cleveland on Wednesday, defeating the Cavs 98-87.

The Los Angeles Clippers are currently in first place in their division, owning a record of 29-15, while falling just in the red on the road, going 11-12 away from home this season. The Clippers will give this Chicago defense a strong test here on Friday as Los Angeles is one of the top scoring teams in the league this season, putting up an average of 105.4 points per game. The Clippers are led offensively by Blake Griffin, who is scoring a solid average of 22.6 this year. The Clippers had a nice stretch a week or two back, but since Los Angeles has dropped two out of their last three, with losses at Indiana and at Charlotte. This is a brutal road stretch for the Clippers and the Bulls fall right towards the tail end of it, so it will be interesting to see what LA’s legs are like tonight.
The Clippers are 6-2 against the spread in their last eight games when playing on just one day of rest, and Lo Angeles is 5-0 against the spread in their last five games following an ATS loss, and 7-1 against the spread in their last eight following an outright loss.
The Bulls are 6-2 against the spread in their last eight games following a straight up win, and the Bulls are 5-2 against the spread in their last seven games at home.
Have to go Clippers here. The Bulls are playing great lately, but this team just doesn't match up with LA. The Clippers have shown they can score on anyone, and with LA getting on the board often, I just don't see this Bulls offense keeping pace against a solid Clippers defense.
It's tough to lay points in the United Center, but that looks to be the side to be on here on Friday.
